On Monday, when he turned five months, we decided it was time for David to start eating "big boy food". So we broke out the spoons & rice cereal & went to town. Jamin played it safe behind the camera this time as David emjoyed his yummy breakfast. David really wanted to help me feed him & also munch on the spoon. He put his fingers in his mouth to explore the new texture & then of course his hand went everywhere else. It's amazing to see him grow so fast & learn new things all the time. Jamin & I feel so blessed to be parents to this wonderful boy!

Five Months!
David turned five months old today! WOW! My little guy is sure growing quickly! It's so exciting to see his personality develop & shine. David is sitting up well now & likes to babble quite a bit (he's especially chatty while getting his diaper changed). Here he was waiting for Mom to get some supper ready. He had his first taste of rice cereal today & seemed to enjoy it! I'll share pictures soon!

Thanks, Coates!
Utah Pictures!
Sorry I'm lame. It's been pretty crazy since we've been back. Jamin's fighting a cough/cold & now I'm feeling some kind of crud creeping in. Add in a nearly 5-month-old who's quite possibly teething & we're just having a grand ol' time. David's actually doing pretty well, all things considering. The toughest part is that his sleeping is totally out of whack. So we're hanging in there. We know it won't last forever!
Enjoy the pics - you'll see them over a few posts.

Look who's holding his own bottle!
Look who's holding his own bottle! I couldn't help but snap this shot when we were in the Carter's store in Park City, UT. David's been practicing this week with holding his own bottle & doing a great job... aww, my little boy is growing up... **tear**Things are taking about five times as long to get done since we've been back. Someone has been needing his mama a little more lately. So I'll hopefully get our trip pictures posted soon.
In a nutshell, Jamin & I had a fantastic time. We got to meet BJ's new wife, Lindsay, who is simply a doll.. we love her & BJ loves her & she loves BJ... they're so stinkin' cute! We can't wait to visit with them again!
